Während ich die Karl-Marx-Allee entlangstapfte, durch den unberührten glitzernden Pulverschnee, hörte ich Musik aus meiner Kindheit - als ich dicht beim Plattenspieler saß, mich fast an die Lautsprecher presste, die Plattenhülle mit den Texten in der Hand, die ich kaum verstand mit meiner Handvoll Englischvokabeln; immer und immer wieder drehte ich vorsichtig die Platte um, voller Angst, dass etwas zerkratzen könnte - und ich verstand wieder einmal die Ewigkeit und Unzerstörbarkeit einiger Musikstücke. Manchmal reicht dann auch eine Handvoll Vokabeln.
